Richard Mihalich

Richard Mihalich, 69, of Olyphant, died on Thursday night at Aventura at Creekside, Carbondale. 

Born in Peckville, his parents were the late Frank Mihalich and Eleanor Mihalich Egnotovich. He was a graduate of Blakely High School and was employed by Specialty Records as a grinding operator for over 15 years. He enjoyed bowling, playing pool and golfing. 

Rich is survived by three brothers: Leonard, Olyphant, David and wife, Sheryll, Jessup and Frank and companion, Carol McCartney, Archbald; and nieces. 

He was also preceded in death by a brother, Gerald. 

Mass will celebrated on Wednesday at 10AM at St. Mary's Visitation Church, 1090 Carmalt St., Dickson City, Msgr. Patrick J. Pratico, pastor, will preside. Masks and social distancing will be required. 

Burial will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Montdale. 

There will be no public viewing.
