Lois A. Booth, 71, of Olyphant died on Tuesday at Allied Services Hospice Center, Scranton. She is survived by her husband, Noel. They were married on June 22, 1974.
Born in Peckville, she was a lifelong resident of Olyphant. Her parents were the late George D. and Margaret Spager Priblo. Lois was a 1968 graduate of Dunmore Central Catholic. She was formerly employed at Super Market Services, Dunmore.
Lois enjoyed gardening, cooking, traveling, and going to dinner with friends. Lois was known for two modes: clearance and casino. Her greatest joy of all was spending time with and entertaining her family.
The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at Allied Hospice for their wonderful care.
She is also survived by three children: Hollie Booth Lute and husband, John of Covington Township, Owen Booth of Olyphant and Morgan Booth of Olyphant; two brothers: George J. Priblo and wife, Deborah of Throop and David Priblo and wife Marie, of Olyphant; several nieces and nephews and a granddog, Lola.
Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday at 9:30AM at Holy Cross Parish at St. Patrick’s Church, 200 Delaware Avenue, Olyphant. Burial will follow at Holy Ghost Cemetery, Blakely.
Friends may call on Friday from 6 to 8PM at the Hudak-O’Shea Funeral Home, 115 Garfield Avenue, Olyphant.
Friends are asked to go directly to the church on Saturday morning.
