Bernadette O'Hara

Bernadette O’Hara, 95, of Peckville died on Tuesday morning at Lackawanna Health & Rehab, Peckville. Her husband James F. died in February 16, 2017.

Born in Brooklyn on March 25, 1922, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Ann E. Fox Conway. She resided in Toms River, NJ until entering Senior Living Residence in PA and Lackawanna Health & Rehab in February 2017.

Bernadette was a graduate of St. Brendans High School, Brooklyn, NY and retired from Chase Manhattan Bank, NYC.

She is survived by a son James F. O’Hara and wife, Lorraine; two daughters: Bernadette McQuade and husband, Michael and Maureen Heeny; 7 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Ann O’Hara.

Blessing services will be held on Saturday at 8:45AM at the Hudak-O'Shea Funeral Home, 115 Garfield Avenue, Olyphant. Msgr. Michael J. Delaney will preside. Burial will take place at St. Charles Cemetery, 2015 Wellwood Avenue, Farmingdale, NY.
