Winifred "Wini" M. O'Shea, 72, of Mt. Cobb, PA and Vero Beach, FL died on Saturday at Mercy Hospital, Scranton surrounded by her family. She was the loving wife of Patrick J. O'Shea for the last 52 years. They were married on June 29, 1957.
Born in Bronx, New York, she was the daughter of Denis and Winifred McGeehan Canny. She was a graduate of St. Barnabas High School, Bronx, New York.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt.
She is survived by three sons: Patrick "P.J." J. and wife, Donna Hudak-O'Shea, Olyphant, Denis A. and wife Theresa "Terry" Griffin O'Shea, Lake Ariel and William "Bill" C. and wife Barbara Meiss O'Shea, Matthews, NC; a daughter, Karen A. Field and husband, Bradley, Clifton Park, NY; eight grandchildren: Kenneth, Zachary & Ryan Field, Ashley & Patrick, IV and Callan, Riley and Ella Grace O'Shea; one sister and brother-in-law, Catherine and Thomas Liston; one brother, Dennis Canny; one brother-in-law, Frank Strcich; four sisters-in-law: Catherine Englehart, Margaret Curry, Mary Warner and Evelyn O'Shea; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date at the family home in Mt. Cobb.
