Gay Marian Cutting, 45, of Olyphant, died on Saturday at home after a lengthily illness. She was the wife of Christopher W. Cutting, Sr., Springfield, NJ.
Born in Endicott, NY, she resided in Olyphant for the past 5 years. Prior to that she lived in Rosell Park for 10 years. She was the daughter of William Fedorchak, Jr., Olyphant and Arlene Sabula Fedorchak, North Miami Beach, Florida. She was a co-owner of June’s Joint, Elizabeth, NJ and spent 20 years involved in the restaurant industry. She enjoyed spending time with her loved ones.
She is survived by one daughter, Kimberle Jean Approvato, Westfield, NJ and one son, Christopher W., Jr., Olyphant; 5 sisters, Joy Fedorchak, Olyphant, Amy Angel Conforti, Jamesburg, NJ, Lynn Ann Posyton, Scotch Plains, NJ, June Marie Fedorchak, Elizabeth, NJ and Jill Mari Fedorchak, Westfield, NJ. Also surviving are 2 grandsons, William and Dillion Approvato, Westfield, NJ, 2 Godchildren, Leigh Ann Fedorchak and Amanda Lee Conforti; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, William, Jr., and Carl Fedorchak.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday at 10AM at Holy Ghost Church, Willow Street, Olyphant. The Reverend Phillip J. Sladicka, pastor, will officiate. Interment will follow in St. John’s Cemetery, Marshwood Road, Throop.
Friends may call on Wednesday at Holy Ghost Church Hall from 9AM until the time of the Memorial Mass.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory for her son, Christopher W. Cutting by contacting an immediate family member.
