Eleanor Potoski Reis

Eleanor Sharek Potoski Reis, 77, of Olyphant, died on Sunday at Dunmore Health Care Center.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Potoski who died in 1963.Born in Scranton, she resided in Dickson City most of her life.  Her parents were the late Frank and Anna Havrilla Sharek.  She was a member of St. Patrick’s Church, Olyphant and attended Throop schools. She loved playing bingo, making ceramics and was noted for her baking.She is survived by 3 daughters, Bernadette Shedlock of Moscow, Ann Tully of Olyphant and Diane Vanderburg of Jessup; one son, Chester Potoski of Peckville; 2 sisters, Irene Gregorski of Throop and Frances Kawalkoski of Dickson City; 9 grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.She was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Leonard, Stanley and Edward Sharek.The funeral will be held at 9AM on Wednesday from the Hudak-O’Shea Funeral Home, Inc., 115 Garfield Avenue, Olyphant.  Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 9:30AM at St. Patrick’s Church, Delaware Avenue, Olyphant.  Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Dickson City.Friends may call on Tuesday from 5 to 8PM at the funeral home
