Mary Lou Marcinkevich, 57, of Sussex Street, Old Forge, died Wednesday morning at the VNA Hospice Unit at Moses Taylor Hospital, Scranton. Her companion of 20 years is Thomas Jenkins, Scranton.Born in Washington, D.C., daughter of the late James F. and Dolores Dranshak Gallagher, she attended Scranton schools and was a graduate of Scranton Technical High School. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Church, Olyphant.She enjoyed crafts and cooking and was a member of the Tauras Club, Scranton.Surviving are a son, Maj. Joseph Marcinkevich, USAF, stationed in San Angelo, TX; two daughters: Maureen Kurilla, Montdale and Deborah Marcinkevich, Jessup; six granddaughters.She was preceded in death by a sister, Susan Nolan.The funeral will be held on Saturday from the Hudak-O’Shea Funeral Home, 115 Garfield Ave., Olyphant with mass at 9:30AM in St. Patrick’s Church, Delaware St., Olyphant to be celebrated by the Rev. Phillip J. Sladicka, pastor.
