Palmina A Whitman

Palmina A. Whitman, 72, died Monday with her family by her side. Born March 20, 1932 in Olyphant to Rocco and Carmela Morano DiPietro, she had been a resident of Bardonia for the past three years and formerly resided in Olyphant.She was a devoted and caring mother and homemaker.Surviving are her children, William Whitman, Jr., Long Island, NY and Cindy Whitman, Oakland, CA; a brother, Claudio and wife, Martha DiPietro, Olyphant; a sister, Rose Ricco, NYC; her nieces, Linda and husband, Ken Egenas and Sally and Robert Srebro; and two grand nephews, Robbie and Ryan Srebro.A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated today at 9:30AM in St. Patrick’s Church, Olyphant with burial to follow at St. Michael’s Cemetery, Dunmore.Arrangements by Hudak-O’Shea Funeral Home, Inc., Olyphant.A memorial mass will be offered on Monday at 7PM at St. Francis of Assisi Church in West Nyack, NY.Arrangements by Higgins Funeral Home, 321 S.
