Ronald Perry Watson, 61, of Dickson City, died Friday morning at VNA Hospice, Community Medical Center, Scranton with his loving wife, Chong at his side. She was the former Chong Kum Kim. They celebrated their 37th wedding anniversary on November 17th.Born in Ponca City, Oklahoma, to the late Harry and Charline Perry Watson, he resided in Dickson City for the past 9 years. Previously, he resided in Waymart. A beloved husband and father, he was an army veteran of the Vietnam War, stationed in Korea.He is survived by a daughter, Sandra and husband, Donald Hartman of Olyphant; a son, Ronald K. and wife Yvette of Bullhead City, Arizona; a daughter, Monica, a senior at MidValley Secondary School; and 5 grandchildren, Ronnie, Charlene, Donald, Randy and Regan. Also surviving are a sister-in-law, Kim Joslin and husband, Dwight of Factoryville and two nieces, Sarah Joslin and Stephanie Kizer.Friends may call on Wednesday from 6 to 9PM at the Hudak-O’Shea Funeral Home, 115 Garfield Ave., Olyphant.Burial will be private on Thursday at Fort Indiantown Gap Veteran Cemetery, Annville.
