Rosina Siconolfi, 94, a resident of Olyphant for the last 40 years, died on Friday evening at Lackawanna County Healthcare Center, Peckville. Her husband, Patsy, died in 1986. Her first husband, Anthony DePietro, died in a mining accident. Born in Guardio, Lombardio, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Francesco and Maria Grace Masucchi Morano. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Church, Olyphant. She loved to crochet and knit. She is survived by her niece and care-giver, Eleanor N. Keegan, Olyphant. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by, three sisters: Antoinette DePietro, Philomena DeVivo and Carmella DePietro and one brother, Louis Morano. The family would like to thank the nurses on C-1 for the excellent care they gave to Rose. Mass will be at 9:30AM on Tuesday at St. Patrick’s Church, Delaware St., Olyphant. Rev. Thomas M. Muldowney, pastor, will officiate. Burial will take place in St. Michael’s Byzantine Cemetery, Dunmore. There will be no public calling hours.
