Rosemary Butler

March 28, 1935 — July 5, 2010

Rosemary Butler, 75, of Olyphant died on Monday at Moses Taylor Hospital, Scranton after being stricken ill.The daughter of the late William A. and Rose Flannery Butler; she is survived by her sisters-in-law: Patricia Butler and Marie Butler, both of Olyphant; nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by a sister Margaret and three brothers: William, Robert and Philip.Rosemary was a kind, loving and gentle soul who enjoyed spending time with her family.  She was a huge Elvis Presley fan and enjoyed watching his movies or listening to his music for hours on end.She was loved by many and will be missed by all who were blessed to have her in their lives.Her family would like to thank the staff of Allied Services’ CM2 in Carbondale for the many years of wonderful care they gave to her.Blessing services will be on Thursday at 10AM at the Hudak-O’Shea Funeral Home, 115 Garfield Avenue, Olyphant.  Rev. Richard J. Cirba, pastor of Holy Cross Parish at St. Patrick’s Church, Olyphant, will preside.Burial will follow at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Blakely.Friends may call on Thursday from 9AM until the time of the service at the funeral home.Memorial Contributions may be made to United Cerebral Palsy of Northeastern PA, 425 Wyoming Avenue, Scranton, PA, 18503.For directions or on-line condolences,  please visit www.hudak-osheafuneralhome.com.
