Ermina “Molly” Ricciardi, 84, of Olyphant, died on Friday at AseraCare Hospice at Mid Valley Hospital, Peckville. Her husband is Michael Ricciardi. They celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary on June 25th. Born in Dunmore, she resided in Olyphant for the last 61 years. She was the daughter of the late August and Mary Bonella Magnotta and the step-daughter of the late Peter Gentil. She was a graduate of Dunmore High School. She worked as a seamstress in the local garment industries. A member of Holy Cross Parish, Olyphant, she was also involved with their quilting group. The family would like to thank the staff of AseraCare for their wonderful care of Molly. She enjoyed watching western movies on TV and most importantly, she loved spending time with her family. Molly will be missed by all who knew her. She is also survived by two sons: Michael and wife, Christine, Peckville and Alex and wife, Deborah, Olyphant; 1 sister, Caroline Giello, Palm Coast, FL; Grandsons: Michael, Jason, Alex, Jr. and Brandon; one great grandson, Jordan; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 9AM from the Hudak-O’Shea Funeral Home, 115 Garfield Ave., Olyphant. Mass will follow at 9:30AM at Holy Cross Parish at St. Patrick’s Church, Delaware St., Olyphant. Rev. August A. Ricciardi, nephew, will officiate. Burial will take place in Mount Carmel Cemetery, Dunmore. Friends may call on Sunday from 2 to 5PM at the funeral home.
