Callista M. Curtis, 95, of Owings, MD and formerly Olyphant, died Wednesday morning at Heritage Harbour Health and Rehabilitation Center, Annapolis, MD. She was the wife of Paul J. who died on 1973.Born in Olyphant she was a resident most of her life before moving to Owings in 2007. Her parents were the late John B. and Kathryn Henry O’Hara She was a former member of St. Patrick’s Church and a graduate of St. Patrick’s High School, Olyphant. She was also a graduate of Lackawanna Junior College and was employed by Endicott Johnson Shoes, Scranton and St. Joseph’s Center, Scranton.A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.She is survived by two daughters: Dolores McCarthy, Mesa, AZ and Karen Curtis, W. Orange, NJ; four sons: Patrick J. Curtis & wife, Maureen T. of Owings, MD, Paul John Curtis, St. Michael’s MD, James Robert Curtis & wife, Kiki of Springfield, VA and Timothy Curtis & wife, Maureen E. of Bowie, MD; eleven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by two sisters: Hortense Krajewski & Dolores O’Hara and brothers: Jay & Thomas O’Hara.Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 9:30AM at Holy Cross Parish at St. Patrick’s Church, Delaware Avenue, Olyphant.
