Kyra Russen Crowe, 48, of King of Prussia and formerly Scott Township, died on Tuesday at Lankenau Medical Center, Wynnewood. Her husband is Kevin J. Crowe. They were married for 22 years and have three loving sons: Conor, Kevin and Martin.Born in Scranton, she was a resident of Scott Township before moving to King of Prussia in 1989. She was a 1981 graduate of Scranton Preparatory School and received her Bachelors and Masters degrees from St. Joseph’s University in 1985 and 1987. She was an adult daycare manager.A loving and devoted daughter, wife, mother, aunt, friend, godmother and caretaker of the elderly, Kyra had a genuine love for people and kept close contact with many that she met throughout her life. She enjoyed attending her boys sporting events, traveling, gardening, her dogs, Buddy and Iko and was a fan of the Philadelphia Eagles. She will be remembered as a person who always had a smile and for being so brave throughout her illness. She will be missed by many dear loving family and friends.She is also survived by her parents: Michael S. and Barbara Lynott Russen, Scott Township; devoted brother, Michael J. and wife, Suzan, Scott Township; father-in-law, Martin Crowe, Point Lookout, NY; sisters-in-law: Regina Berardino and husband, John, Fairfield, CT and Megan Inglesby and husband, Ken, Virginia Beach, VA; uncle and aunt, Jack and Joan Russen, E. Sullivanville, NY; and cousins.Kyra will always be remembered with love by her nieces and nephews: Emily, Erica, John, Justin, Timothy, Mary, Julia, Robert and Maggie.She was preceded in death by her loving grandparents: Helen and John Lynott and Helen and Michael Russen and her mother-in-law, Joan Crowe.Divine Liturgy will be held on Monday at 10AM at Ss. Cyril and Methodius Greek Catholic Church, River St., Olyphant. Fr. John Wysochansky will officiate.
