Sarah J. Tolliver

Sarah J. "Sally" Tolliver, 60, of Olyphant, died on Tuesday at Mid-Valley Hospital, Peckville. Her husband is Bruce C. Tolliver. They were married on Oct. 23, 1979, and lived in Olyphant for the last 12 years. Born in San Bernardino, Calif., she was the daughter of Gladys Woodman Cole, Palmdale, Calif.; and the late Marvin Salter. She was a graduate of Palmdale High School and the University of California-Davis. Sally started her career as a paralegal and also was an instructor. Her passion, however, was poetry, and she had several books published. She is also survived by a sister, Leslie Edwards; and a brother, Scott Van Salter, both of Palmdale; nieces and nephews.
