Mary Roman Ozga, 97, of Olyphant, died on Monday at Lackawanna Health & Rehab, Peckville. Her husband was the late John “Boots” Ozga.Born in Peckville, she resided in Olyphant for the last 67 years. She was the daughter of the late Constantine and Helena Prystasz Roman.She was a member of Holy Cross Parish at St. Patrick’s Church, formerly St. Michael the Archangel Church.She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn Ozga and Harry G. Stumpf, Clarks Summit; a brother, Paul Roman & family, Colorado; nieces & nephews: Charles Karczmarek & family, Phyllis Kimmel & family, John Casovecchia, Monica Roman Gagnier, Theodore & Maria, Mark, Paula, Maria & Patrick Roman; John, Matthew, Greg & Dana Roman & family; Eleanor Ohal, Mary, John, Michael & Michelle Keyasko; Ann, James, Ryan & Adam Mack.She was preceded in death by 4 sisters: Anna Karczmarek, Helen Kimmel, Lucy and Pauline Roman; 3 brothers: George, Lt. Col. Theodore (US Army Retired) and John Roman.Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 9AM from the Hudak-O’Shea Funeral Home, 115 Garfield Ave., Olyphant. Mass will follow at 9:30AM at Holy Cross Parish at St. Patrick’s Church, Delaware St., Olyphant.
