Lillian Mary Kaszuba, 76, of Olyphant, died on Friday night at her son Michael’s home in Olyphant. Her husband, Joseph Stanley Kaszuba, died on August 1, 1985. They were married for 25 years.Born in Olyphant, she was a lifelong resident. She was the daughter of the late Anthony and Mary Koscielna Cerene and attended St. Patrick’s School and Olyphant High School.She was formerly employed by Baumel Dress Co., Olyphant and was a member of Holy Cross Parish at St. Patrick’s Church, Olyphant and served as an acolyte for 20 years and was a member of the Prayer Group and the Parish Society.Special “thank you” to Michael for being such a wonderful caretaker and to his bosses Gregg, Gary & Pat for letting him take time off to care for his mother. Also, a special “thank you” to Dr. Burke and Sandy, Dr. Gilbert and Tammy, Dr. Jordan and staff, Fr. Thomas Muldowney and the Hospice of the Sacred Heart.She is survived by her son Michael A. Kaszuba, Olyphant.She was also preceded in death by 2 sisters: Martha and Alice Cerene and two brothers: Ambrose and Walter Cerene.Funeral Services will be held at 9AM on Thursday from the Hudak-O’Shea Funeral Home, Inc., 115 Garfield Avenue, Olyphant. Mass will follow at 9:30AM at Holy Cross Parish at St. Patrick’s Church, Delaware St., Olyphant.
