Helen A. Dill, 88, a life long resident of Olyphant, died on Friday night at Regional Hospital of Scranton. Her husband, Stanley, died on April 10, 2002.Born in Olyphant, she was the daughter of the late Ferdinand and Maria Cerulla Santagato. She attended Olyphant High School and formerly worked at Baumel’s Dress Factory, Olyphant.Helen loved to dance. She was a compassionate person who had a very generous spirit, which was evident by the many people she helped throughout her life.She is survived by two daughters: Rita Malesky, Olyphant and Helen Warwick, Dunmore; 5 grandchildren: Johnny, Brian, Michael, Jim & Brittany; and 6 great-grandchildren.She was also preceded in death by a son, Stanley John, Jr., who died on August 31, 2004 and 8 siblings.Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 9Am at the Hudak-O’Shea Funeral Home, 115 Garfield Avenue, Olyphant. Mass will be celebrated at 9:30AM at Holy Cross Parish at St. Patrick’s Church, Olyphant.
