Lauryn Mary Sutton, 14, daughter of John and Kathryn Sutton, Potomac, MD, and granddaughter of the late William and Mary Kalowsky, formerly of Peckville, died at her home in Potomac, MD of natural causes on July 9. A recent graduate of Norwood School, Bethesda, MD, Lauryn was deeply interested in the visual arts, computer science, drama, and the French language. She was eagerly looking forward to joining the Class of 2018 at Holton Arms School in Bethesda, MD this fall. A parishoner at Our Lady of the Visitation Parish in Darnestown, MD, Lauryn was recently confirmed by Donald Cardinal Wuerl, Archbishop of Washington, at the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, Washington, DC. She enjoyed assisting with various community service projects at Our Lady of the Visitation--helping with annual school supply and baby clothing collections. Lauryn is survived by uncles and aunts James and Kristina Kalowsky, Oahu, HI, as well as Emmett Sutton and Shirley Brunel Sutton, Rockport, ME Her cousins are James Kalowsky, Teresa Kalowsky, Grace Kalowsky, Walter William Kalowsky, and Mary Kalowsky, all of Oahu, HI, as well as Stephanie Sutton Knott, London, and Emmett Daniel Sutton, Albuquerque. NM. Lauryn was a vibrant, caring young lady who will be dearly missed by friends and family, but remembered lovingly by all.
