Rosemary Kollar, 71, of Olyphant, died Saturday morning at Lackawanna Health and Rehabilitation Center, Peckville. Her husband, Eugene J., died July 5, 2011.Born in Peckville, daughter of the late Michael and Mildred Peernock Oprishko, she was a graduate of Olyphant High School and a member of Holy Cross Parish at St. Patrick’s Church. She was formerly employed by ICS, Scranton and enjoyed sewing and cooking.She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Renee and Donald Lovenduski, Olyphant; and Gina and Daniel McArdle, Clarks Summit; two granddaughters, Maryn and Natalie Rose McArdle; two sisters, Jean Misiukiewicz, North Carolina; and Nancy Bonczkiewicz, Justus; and two brothers, George and Michael Oprishko, both of Olyphant.She was also preceded in death by her sister, Susan Oprishko.The funeral will be Tuesday at 9 a.m. from the Hudak-O’Shea Funeral Home, 115 Garfield Ave., Olyphant, with Mass at 9:30 a.m. in Holy Cross Parish at St. Patrick’s Church, 200 Delaware Ave., Olyphant. Entombment will follow at Cathedral Cemetery, Mausoleum, Oram Street, Scranton.Friends may call Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 57 N.
