Marion C. Hoffman, 72, of Factoryville died Thursday night at Tyler Memorial Hospital, Tunkhannock. She is survived by her husband, John “Jack” Hoffman. They would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 25.Born in Newfoundland, Canada, she resided in Factoryville for the last 20 years, and previously lived in Tunkhannock. Her parents were the late Alexander and Martha Hewitt. She was retired from Procter and Gamble, Mehoopany, and was a member of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, Tunkhannock.She is also survived by two daughters, Kim Rubino and husband, Dave, Moscow; and Debra Owens and husband, Thomas, Exeter; a son, John Hoffman and wife, Virginia, Prince Frederick, Md.; and seven grandchildren.She was also preceded in death by a brother, Gordon Hewitt.Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at the St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 3832 State Route 6, Tunkhannock.
