Olga Grunza, 93, of Olyphant, died on Sunday at St. Mary’s Villa, Elmhurst. Her husband, Michael Grunza died in October of 1958. She was also preceded by her first husband, Joseph Perechensky.Born in Jessup, she resided in Olyphant most of her life. Her parents were the late John and Anastasia Grasko. She was a member of Ss. Cyril & Methodius Greek Catholic Church.Olga enjoyed bus trips to the casinos.She is survived by four children: Josephine Valvano and husband, Jim, Dunmore, Michael S. and wife, AnnMarie, Eynon, Shirley Bradshaw and husband, Harry, Duryea, John P. and wife, Tina, Archbald; 11 grandchildren: Paulette, Christine, Dominick, Michael, Jr., Joseph, Tracey, Jennifer, Kurt, Jr., Jimmy, Christine and John, Jr.; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.She was also preceded in death by 7 siblings.Funeral services will be on Wednesday at 9:30AM from the Hudak-O’Shea Funeral Home, Inc., 115 Garfield Avenue, Olyphant. Divine Liturgy will follow at 10AM at Ss. Cyril & Methodius Greek Catholic Church, River St., Olyphant. Fr. Nestor Iwasiw will preside.Burial will follow in Holy Ghost Byzantine Catholic Cemetery, Jessup.Friends may call on Tuesday from 5 to 8PM at the funeral home.
